Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor vulnerability scans on systems and applications.
- Mitigate vulnerabilities by contacting users and remotely patching laptops.
- Identify and document security vulnerabilities, recommending remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure vulnerabilities are addressed promptly.
- Develop and maintain vulnerability management procedures and documentation.
- Conduct security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with security policies.
- Stay up to date on emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices.
- Assist in security audits by third-party entities.
- Provide technical support to users as needed.
- Support office A/V equipment as required.
- Work within Intune and SCCM to maintain endpoint management.
- Support the Asset Management team, including tasks such as creating/updating asset records and distributing assets to Herndon employees.
- 4 years of experience in Windows IT Services End-User Support or Endpoint Administration.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment and management.
- Familiarity with security tools such as Nessus, MECM, and Intune.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
