Public Policy Internship Opportunity
The Digital Chamber is seeking 3-4 highly motivated Public Policy Interns on a rolling basis to join our Policy and Government Relations team. This is an unpaid internship that offers the option to earn academic credit, with the potential for a paid internship extension based on performance and organizational needs.
Program Dates: This is a rolling internship program aligned with the Spring 2026 semester. Exact start and end dates are flexible, and extensions may be offered at TDC’s discretion.
Schedule: Part-time (15-20 hours per week), Hybrid
Location: Washington, D.C. Area / Remote

Internship Responsibilities
Interns will gain hands-on experience in public policy and government relations, including:
- Monitoring and analyzing pending legislation and public policy initiatives
- Supporting policy associates and directors through research, development of policy fact sheets, and federal legislation tracking
- Attending congressional hearings, meetings, briefings, and training sessions (via webinar, telephone, or in-person) to deepen understanding of regulatory actions, laws, and judicial decisions
- Contributing to policy analysis, writing, and editing reports and materials on diverse topics
- Providing administrative support as needed
Interns will support one or more of the following policy focus areas. In your cover letter, please identify one to two areas of interest and describe any relevant experience you may have:
- National Security and Illicit Finance
- Decentralization and DeFi
- Consumer-Facing Blockchain Products (e.g., NFTs)
- Energy and Data Center Policy
- Stocks, derivatives, and financial products
- Stablecoins
- Tax and Accounting
- Tokenization
- Artificial Intelligence
Qualifications
Required:
- Current undergraduate junior, senior, or graduate/J.D. student
- Available to work part-time (approximately 15-20 hours per week)
- Demonstrated interest in or experience with web3, digital assets, and blockchain technology
Preferred:
- Prior internship experience in government relations, financial services policy, or digital assets
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
- If based in the Washington, D.C. area, applicants should be able to work 1–2 days per week in our downtown office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, writing-intensive environment
