Role Description The Chief of Staff to the Chief Executive Officer and Project Lead is an on-site role based in New London, CT. This position supports the CEO with strategic planning, prioritization of initiatives, and coordination of key business activities across the boutique and gallery operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing executive schedules, preparing briefings and reports, organizing and facilitating meetings, and ensuring follow-through on decisions and action items. The role also leads cross-functional projects, such as process improvements, brand initiatives, and operational enhancements, overseeing timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication. This position acts as a central point of contact between the CEO and internal teams, helping to align goals, track performance, and maintain a high level of operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Experience in executive support, strategic planning, and project leadership, preferably in luxury retail, jewelry, or art-related environments.
- Strong organizational, time management, and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to prepare reports, presentations, and concise executive summaries.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with comfort working with data, metrics, and business performance indicators.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across small, multidisciplinary teams.
