What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Associate position at The Diamond Depot?
VERY small woman owned lgbtq friendly business looking for a full or part time associate! 10% commission on all profit on top of hourly. Average hourly after commission $26. Hourly negotiable if bilingual or with certain sales experience. We have had the same crew for 3 years & genuinely are like family. I am looking for someone looking for a long term position as there is so much to learn in the industry. Schedule is incredibly flexible in exception to holiday season. Weekends are required but we rotate shifts to ensure a healthy work life balance for everyone. We have always made it work for everyone to attend Christmas parties & such, but time off is very limited Black Friday -Christmas & overtime is required(with time and a half pay.)
job includes helping guests, selling jewelry, basic cleaning. there is a decent amount of down time. I have no problem with doing homework, watching a show, etc. in down time as long as the store is clean & tasks are done! I do require you keep a store cell phone on you at (almost) all times incase a guest returns when you are not here & we do not have notes referencing.
Dress code is business casual. jeans, tank tops, sandals, crop tops are okay as long as you still look professional.
