PRIMARY FUNCTION: Rooftop Terrace Bartender
DEPARTMENT: Food & Beverage
REPORTS TO: Food & Beverage Manager
SUMMARY:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Major areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the safe and sanitary preparation of beverage orders and ensuring that the bar area and supply of liquors, beers, wines, and other beverages is maintained.
- Prepare drink orders according to customer request and recipe specifications.
- Check identification of customers to verify legal age requirements.
- Calculate and collect bar tabs.
- Track, open and secure bottles of liquor, beer, and wine.
- Set-up of bar unit, tables, chairs, and supplies.
- Clean glassware and utensils.
- Stock ice and glassware.
- Maintain and replenish all bar beverages and supplies.
- Maintain a safe and clean bar environment including monitoring customer alcohol consumption.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Minimum of one year of beverage service experience.
- Knowledge of beverage and cocktail recipes and specifications.
- Knowledge of safe food and beverage handling procedures.
- Ability to lift fifty pounds.
- Ability to bend and stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to operate hand tools and kitchen equipment.
- Dependable work ethic with a positive attitude.
