Computer / Cell Phone Technician

REPAIR TECHNICIAN - SATURDAY AVAILABILITY REQUIRED

The Device Shop is looking to add to it's team in Westport.

We're looking for a Technical Associate with responsibilities such as diagnosing and performing repairs on a wide range of devices including: phones, ipads, laptops, gaming systems, etc. A Technical Associate is responsible for remaining informed and educated on newly released, upcoming technology in the industry. Additionally, they are responsible for cross training additional technical staff members to ensure that the store is prepared to repair a variety of devices.

We also are looking for someone proficient in creating and maintaining marketplace listings such as eBay and Walmart. Experience is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Repair experience with a wide range of devices: phones, laptops, tablets, gaming systems, etc.
• Proficient in soldering (preferred, but not required)
• Ability to perform back glass replacements on iPhones with laser machine (required or willing to learn)
• Ability to research repair techniques for new or uncommon devices

• Maintain a clean, quality store appearance and workstation
• Consistently and accurately use the Point-Of-Sale (POS) system to enter, track, and close all client transactions

• Number of faulty repairs and broken devices
• Average repair times
• Professional demeanor towards customers, especially when handling customer complaints
• Overall attitude and teamwork

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
