Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments efficiently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety and food handling guidelines
- Assist with catering, banquet service, or nightclub events as needed, ensuring seamless execution
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and making recommendations
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or retail environments with a focus on hospitality and customer service excellence
- Familiarity with POS systems such as a POS for order entry and transaction processing
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling, and basic math for bill calculations and sales transactions
- Experience working in fine dining settings, nightclubs, or banquet environments is a plus
- Ability to perform serving duties confidently while maintaining professionalism in high-energy environments like nightclubs or brewing venues
- Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse guests and team members effectively
