Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the auto detailing team, ensuring high standards of cleaning, sanitation, and vehicle presentation
- Train new staff on proper detailing techniques, safety procedures, and customer service protocols
- Monitor work quality to ensure adherence to industry standards for automotive cleaning, industrial cleaning, and sanitation practices
- Manage scheduling, task assignments, and workflow to optimize productivity and meet deadlines
- Enforce safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment to prevent accidents and promote team well-being
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and management to address concerns and improve service delivery
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles post-detailing to ensure customer satisfaction and quality assurance
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning services with a focus on automotive detailing or custodial work
- Strong staff supervision and team management skills with previous supervising or managerial experience
- Excellent communication skills for effective managerial oversight and customer interactions
- Knowledge of sanitation standards, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management practices in industrial or commercial settings
- Ability to lead a team efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Experience in hospitality or housekeeping management is a plus for understanding customer service expectations
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff, manage conflicts, and foster a positive work environment
