Job Description:
As the Public Relations Manager at The Design Group, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing comprehensive public relations strategies that enhance our brand image and foster positive relationships with key stakeholders. We are looking for a strategic thinker, adept communicator, and seasoned PR professional who can navigate the complexities of modern media landscapes. In-Person only.
Responsibilities:
· Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic public relations plans that align with overall business objectives and enhance brand visibility.
· Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with media professionals, bloggers, and influencers. Pitch and secure media coverage to promote our clients and their initiatives.
· Content Creation: Craft compelling press releases, op-eds, feature stories, and other PR materials that effectively communicate key messages and generate media interest.
· Crisis Management: Proactively identify potential PR issues and develop crisis communication plans. Manage and mitigate reputational risks effectively.
· Event Management: Plan and execute PR events, press conferences, and product launches. Coordinate media attendance and coverage.
· Internal Communication: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of messaging and maintain consistent communication both internally and externally.
· Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor media coverage, industry trends, and public sentiment. Provide regular reports and analysis to measure the success of PR initiatives.
· Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, community leaders, and industry influencers.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
· Proven experience as a Public Relations Manager with a strong portfolio showcasing successful PR campaigns.
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong understanding of media relations, crisis communication, and event management.
· Ability to think strategically and adapt to changing situations.
· Demonstrated success in securing media coverage and building positive relationships with journalists.
· Proficient in PR tools and platforms.
· Experience in multicultural marketing or related fields is a plus.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
