The Dermot Company, a New York City based real estate developer and operator is seeking a Leasing & Marketing Intern to join our team during the summer months, June - August.
This is an onsite position with work hours of 9 to 6pm, including weekends.

WHAT YOU’LL GAIN DURING THIS INTERNSHIP
- Introduction and basic understanding of residential real estate in a luxury building
- Enhancing your customer service skills and learning best practices in dealing with prospects and residents
- How to best create a marketing strategy to generate leads
- Working with social media and website updates to bring awareness to our properties
- Reporting on leasing activities and market surveys
- Qualifying prospects and scheduling viewings
- Basics of leasing and preleasing and applicable paperwork
- Touring prospects throughout a property and guiding them through the leasing process
- A genuine interest in the real estate industry
- Prior office work experience
- Familiarity of social media and communication technology platform
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, presentation and organization skills
- Ability to anticipate the needs of others and easily adapt to rapidly evolving situations
- A strong work ethic and commitment to meet deadlines
- Ability to work on weekends
- Proficiency in Google Suite, MSOffice
- Authorized to work for any employer in the United States without any restrictions whatsoever
