Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an understanding of housekeeping management practices.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to hotel standards.
- Perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Manage laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and towels.
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist in the organization of housekeeping storage areas and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all cleaning activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest requests or concerns with professionalism.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or industrial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices in a hotel setting is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
