Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
- Sterilize instruments and follow infection control protocols
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Educate patients on treatment and oral health recommendations
- Record clinical notes and update patient charts
- Assist with impressions, scans, and other clinical procedures
- Manage supplies and inventory as needed
- Support team members to ensure a smooth patient experience
Qualifications
- Dental assisting experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- Current dental assistant certification and radiography certification (or ability to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and professional appearance and demeanor
