Duties
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up for patients.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred
- Proficient in using dental software
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain a positive attitude in a busy environment.
- Certification in Dental Assisting or EFDA is desirable.
