The operator is responsible for all commodity inbound and outbound tasks, assisting with grain grading and sampling tasks. You must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. - Provide outstanding customer service skills at all times when greeting and servicing customers.
- Manage inbound grain shipments for customers coming across the truck scale.
- Ability to grade grain and identify foreign materials
- Record test data, such as weights, temperatures, grades, moisture content, and quantities inspected or graded.
- Perform required record keeping for trucking weighing and accurate grading activities.
- Coordination of delivery numbers, daily inputs, and verification of accuracy.
- Operates on-scale interface system and transfer of data.
- Responds to customer inquiries at the counter.
- Assisting with other office functions as needed.
