Class A CDL Driver

- Work: Full Time, 10-12 hours a day- 5 days a week, during Harvest expanded days/hours may be required.

CDL drivers are responsible for operating tractor-trailer equipment and maintain properly to transport material to designated location in a timely manner.
Essential Job Functions Of CDL Driver
- Must have valid CDL Class A
- Safely operate Class A truck to transport material to job site, possibly during Harvest season, driving on uneven or unfinished surface
- Must be able to climb up to 10 feet on ladders attached to truck or fertilizer tank
- Daily maintenance of equipment such as cleaning truck inside and out
- Regularly perform Pre-Trip and Post-Trip inspections on equipment.
- Recognize surroundings and practice traffic awareness to maintain a safe environment on the road and in the yard
- Tarp load when needed, verify gates are closed
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written).
- Ability to read maps and navigate to new locations
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and recognize matters needing attention and initiate action on that recognition.
- Provide Delivery service as required by established delivery standards
- Interact with customers and managers.
- Observing speed limits and obeying D.O.T. regulations
- Keeping driving records
- Utilizing Samsara equipment, including forward and rear facing cameras in the trucks.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid Class A CDL and Federal Medical card.
- ALL applicants must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
- Minimum of 1 year experience driving with a CDL.
