Job Description
We are seeking a professional, reliable, and guest-focused Bartender (21 ) to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-energy environment, takes pride in delivering exceptional service, and enjoys creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere for guests. Our bartenders play a key role in the overall guest experience and are expected to maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, and teamwork with overall accountability. Unique, artistic and music-oriented bartenders preferred.
Core Responsibilities
Guest Service & Hospitality
- Greet guests promptly and create a welcoming bar environment
- Verify guest age and follow all responsible alcohol service guidelines
- Build rapport with guests and provide attentive, swift & friendly service
- Make drink and menu recommendations based on guest preferences
- Maintain a positive, upbeat, and professional attitude at all times
Drink Preparation & Bar Operations
- Accurately prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes and standards
- Maintain consistency, presentation, and quality of all drinks
- Manage multiple orders efficiently during high-volume service
- Monitor guest consumption and handle difficult situations responsibly
POS, Cash Handling & Accuracy
- Take and enter orders using the Toast POS system
- Manage tabs, process payments, and handle cash accurately
- Maintain accountability and accuracy with all transactions
Bar Prep & Cleaning
- Cut fruit, prepare juices and syrups, and restock garnishes
- Refill ice wells and maintain par levels of beer, wine, and liquor
- Keep the bar, equipment, and workstations clean and organized
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and health guidelines
- Complete opening, running, and closing side work
Teamwork & Reliability
- Communicate effectively with other bartenders, kitchen staff, and management
- Support team members during busy periods
- Maintain punctuality and dependable attendance
- Help create a respectful, team-oriented work environment
Skills & Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Previous bartending experience preferred (high-volume experience is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and basic mixology techniques
- Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
- Comfortable handling cash and operating POS systems
- Flexible schedule and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Schedule & Availability
- 6-8 hour shifts
- Morning and night shifts available
- Weekend and evening availability strongly preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $7.00 per hour
