What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Night Auditor position at The Delavan Hotel?
The Delavan and Garden Place Hotel is hiring for a Night Auditor. This position must be able to work the overnight shift from 11 PM- 7 AM. The Night Auditor will be responsible for overseeing the front desk operations during the night shift, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate, and providing excellent customer service to guests.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming guests, checking them in, and checking them out efficiently.
- Respond to guest inquiries, complaints, requests, and emergencies in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with reservations, room assignments, and special requests as needed.
- Ensure all guests’ needs are met during their stay, including handling late check-ins or special accommodations.
- Closeout and balance shift work, ensuring all charges have been processed and reconciled.
- Review and verify room charges, payments, and adjustments. Post charges, process payments, and balance guest accounts.
- Maintain cleanliness of front desk and front desk break-room, including but not limited to taking out garbage (on every shift), restocking brochures, mints, etc.
- Set up the coffee station in the morning for any guest’s leaving before the breakfast staff arrive.
- Ready Grab & Go boxes as requested
- Able to fill in for shuttle service if the shuttle driver is not present.
