Job Summary
We are looking for someone with roof experience and deck building knowledge. You will be hand on the jobsite daily and building alongside our staff.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead/Foreman Deck Builder to oversee and execute high-quality deck construction projects from start to finish. This role is vital in leading a team of skilled carpenters and construction workers, ensuring safety, efficiency, and excellence in every project. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and a deep understanding of deck building techniques, blueprints, and project management tools. Your expertise will drive project success while maintaining strict adherence to safety standards and client specifications. We provide all tools necessary for the job to be done. Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of deck builders, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards according to building codes.
- Coordinate daily work schedules, manage resources, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, contract adherence, and project scheduling to meet deadlines and client expectations
- Proven experience in construction site management with a strong knowledge on composite and treated pine deck building projects. Must be able to read plans and work within the team and independently.
- Supervising or management experience in a fast-paced construction environment
- Experience with budgeting, project scheduling, and contract management processes
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
