Duties
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tire service, and brake repair.
- Diagnose and repair automotive issues related to engines, transmissions, powertrains, and electrical systems.
- Conduct inspections and tests on vehicles to identify problems using automotive diagnostics tools.
- Repair or replace parts such as shocks & struts, alignment components, and suspension systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in the repair process.
- Read and interpret schematics for complex automotive systems.
- Work on diesel engine repairs and air brake systems as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their vehicle's needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with dealership experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Familiarity with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) is a plus.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Experience with GM vehicles is advantageous.
- Ability to perform auto body repair tasks when necessary.
- Welding skills are considered an asset.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnostics and repairs.
- Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for clients.
