Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Job Coach position based in San Leandro, CA. The Job Coach will be responsible for assisting clients in identifying and achieving their career goals through coaching, skill-building, and career planning. Daily tasks include one-on-one job coaching sessions, providing career counseling, supporting clients in overcoming employment barriers, and facilitating workshops or training sessions as needed. The Job Coach will collaborate closely with other team members to ensure clients receive holistic and integrated support services.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Job Coaching and Career Counseling to support clients in navigating employment opportunities and career growth.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and Coaching abilities to effectively motivate, support, and guide clients.
- Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to actively listen, assess client needs, and provide clear guidance and feedback.
- Ability to build relationships with diverse groups and individuals, fostering trust and collaboration.
- Familiarity with community resources and workforce development programs is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Previous experience in social services or workforce development is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
