Mechanical Assembler - Temp to hireWe are seeking a Mechanical Assembler in the 02346 area who is mechanically inclined, can use various hand and power tools and follow blueprints. Pay Rate: 24.00/hr1st Shift Monday - Fridays 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMResponsibilities of the Mechanical Assembler:Assemble splicers and sub-assemblies according to procedures and work instructions.Utilize a variety of hand/power tools, including screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and tape measures.Accurately log job times through Epicor for assembly tracking.Operate overhead cranes and other lifting mechanisms safely and efficiently.Verify parts for flaws, defects, or imperfections and reject non-conformant parts.Qualifications of the Mechanical Assembler:At least 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical assembly.High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Blueprint experience neededAble to follow established methods and procedures for assembly.Proficient in reading and working from drawings, schematics, and verbal instructions.Capable of lifting 35 pounds and standing for an entire workday.Mechanical Assemblers Apply TodayDAVIS Companies partners with the top employers locally and nationally.
