Position Overview
The CLS Irrigation Service Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing the landscape irrigation systems and landscape lighting systems for clients while providing excellent customer service. This is a seasonal position, depending on the regional location.
Job Duties
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain irrigation and landscape lighting systems.
- Provide clients with excellent customer service and recommendations on irrigation and landscape lighting solutions.
- Identify, locate, and repair pipes, fittings, and wiring.
- Maintain vehicles, tools, and inventory to ensure readiness and safety.
- Program, repair, and configure timers, and perform start-up and winterization of irrigation systems.
- Maintain job records and complete work orders accurately.
- Follow all safety rules, regulations, and work procedures.
- Report timely and accurately to supervisor.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age to work in the field.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate equipment as a Department of Transportation (DOT) certified driver for specific vehicles or equipment.
- Ability to complete required safety courses upon hire.
- Ability to complete Davey Career Development Program (CDP) books.
- Valid Driver’s License. Class B CDL valuable, but not required.
- Experience with computers or tablets.
Additional Information
Compensation rate for this position is $25 to $31 per hour based on experience
