We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Assistant to join the Daston Corporation team.

The Role: Marketing Our Cloud Solutions
This essential role supports our marketing efforts with a particular focus on promoting our Google and NetSuite cloud solutions within the government contracting and cloud technology sectors for both public and private clients. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with a passion for digital marketing, strong organizational, and creative skills. This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing.
Key ResponsibilitiesContent and Campaign Management:
- Assist in the development, execution of email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp, focusing on lead generation and nurturing for our Google and NetSuite offerings.
- Create and edit compelling digital content for our website and blog using the WordPress platform to drive interest in our cloud solutions.
- Utilize Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) for internal collaboration, content drafting, and performance reporting.
- Support the creation of marketing materials using Canva, Adobe Express, and leveraging AI products to enhance content development and efficiency.
Creative and Design Support:
- Apply a graphic design background to create engaging visual content (e.g., social media graphics, email banners, simple infographics) that aligns with brand guidelines for our key product lines.
- Maintain and organize the digital asset library.
Event Coordination:
- Assist with event planning and coordination, including logistics, promotional materials, and post-event follow-up for both virtual and in-person events targeting government and commercial audiences interested in cloud ERP and collaboration solutions.
Administrative and Reporting:
- Assist the Director of Marketing with various administrative tasks, including scheduling, budget tracking, and vendor coordination.
- Monitor and report on the performance of digital marketing initiatives and campaigns, providing insights on the effectiveness of promoting our core Google and NetSuite solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Proven professional experience working with a government contractor or a company that serves the government contracting sector and public sector (Fed/SLED)
- Technology Fluency: Demonstrated experience promoting and/or marketing cloud technologies and solutions for both public sector and private sector, with a strong understanding of either Google (Workspace, Cloud) or NetSuite (ERP) environments.
- Platform Proficiency: Practical experience with the following tools:
- WordPress (familiarity with content management and basic site updates).
- Mailchimp (or similar enterprise-level email marketing platform).
- Google Workspace (or similar business productivity suite).
- Canva (or similar design tool).
- Familiarity with leveraging AI products for marketing tasks.
- Familiarity with Zoominfo and GovTribe
- Familiarity with Google Ads
- Familiarity with YouTube videos and video design, creation
- Communication Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills are non-negotiable, with a strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to craft clear, professional, and persuasive marketing copy about complex technology.
- Design Acumen: A demonstrable background in graphic design, even if not a primary role, with an eye for aesthetics and brand consistency.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
