- Utilize animal restraint techniques effectively to maintain safety for both pets and staff.
- Assist with dog training activities to promote good behavior during grooming sessions.
- Support veterinary team members by providing animal handling assistance and basic pet care tasks as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations and ensure all tools are sanitized according to health standards.
- Offer excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about grooming needs and pet health considerations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in pet grooming, dog handling, or related animal care roles.
- Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with veterinary technician or assistant responsibilities is a plus.
