Position Overview:

The Dance Space is seeking an experienced Dance Instructor & Choreographer to join our expanding faculty. We are committed to delivering high-quality training while fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere where dancers can grow artistically and technically. We’re looking for a dedicated professional who brings strong teaching skills, creative leadership, and a passion for developing well-rounded dancers.

Responsibilities:

• Teach well-structured dance classes for a variety of ages and levels.
• Choreograph polished, performance-ready routines for showcases and events.
• Provide individualized coaching and clear, constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with team members to support studio goals and artistic vision.
• Participate in studio events and maintain strong relationships with students and families.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities as needed.

Qualifications:

• 10 years of dance training.
• Experience teaching youth (ages 3-14) and adult dancers.
• Proven success as a dance instructor with a strong teaching portfolio.
• Experience choreographing and staging performances.

Skills

• Strong understanding of multiple dance styles and technical foundations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate, inspire, and connect with dancers.
