Bartell Hotels is an equal opportunity employer.Primary Objective of Banquet Server PositionTo provide food and beverage service to banquet customers in an efficient and courteous manner ResponsibilitiesEnsures proper set-up of all tables for assigned station, in accordance with company standardsInspects linen, silver, china, and other table itemsServes food, coffee, water, and other beverages to customers, refills beverages as neededReceives customer requests for any food or beverage that varies from the set menuRefers complaints on food or service to the Banquet ManagerCooperates closely with the other servers to ensure that prompt service is given at all timesClears unnecessary and/or soiled dishes, silverware, glassware and linen as needed, Cleans banquet room and banquet kitchen area during and after banquet functionsKeeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significanceOther duties may be assigned as needed Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and taste or smell.
