My client is looking for a junior accountant with nonprofit experience. Grants experience a plus.
Role could go direct hire or temp to perm.
70K-80K or 30.00-35.00 Per Hour
Requirements
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of nonprofit bookkeeping, accounting, or finance experience.
- Hands-on experience with accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, invoicing, and journal entries.
- Experience working in a grant-funded or fund‐accounting environment.
- Intermediate Excel skills (formulas, sorting, filtering, reconciliation worksheets).
- Proficiency with nonprofit Accounting Software i.e. Financial Edge, Raiser's Edge, Sage, MIP, Blackbaud.
- Strong organizational and time‐management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet recurring deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, follow through on responsibilities, and raise questions proactively.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
