Custom Healthcare Solutions is seeking an Endoscopy Nurse Manager (RN) for an acute care hospital setting in Far Rockaway, NY. This position requires a strong background in both endoscopy and main operating room, as the manager will support the endoscopy unit as well as the main OR when needed.
- Pay Rate: $93.55
- Start Date: May 18th
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required, Master’s preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Certified Gastroenterology Registered Nurse (CGRN) preferred
- Minimum 3–5 years of nursing experience
- Minimum 2 years of endoscopy experience required
- Minimum 1 year of leadership or management experience required
- Operating Room (OR) experience required
- Must have scrubbing and circulating experience in the main OR
Position Details:
- Oversight of endoscopy unit operations
- Endoscopy unit currently operates approximately 2 days per week
- Manager will support and work within the main operating room on non-endoscopy days
- Must be comfortable transitioning between endoscopy and OR environments
- Responsible for staff oversight, workflow coordination, and daily operations
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Ability to manage both clinical and administrative responsibilities
- Experience in multi-specialty surgical settings preferred
