What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Lifeguard position at The Current on River?
Hekemian & Company is looking for summer lifeguards from May 23rd to September 7th (Labor Day) at one of our premier residential buildings in Hackensack, NJ, The Current on River.
Job Responsibilities:
· Supervise pool occupancy
· Check in guests and verify pool passes
· Maintain a sign in sheet via Google Sheets (excel)
· Coordinate with the building staff when occupancy reaches 25 maximum capacity
· Must be able to address pool violations and violators (i.e. glass bottles, floatation devices, running)
· Closely monitoring activities related to the pool area and identify any safety issues
· Administer first aid in the event of injury, rescue swimmers in distress or danger of drowning, and administer CPR and/or artificial respiration, if necessary
Qualifications:
· High School or equivalent
· Lifeguard and CPR/First Aid certification required
Company will pay for certification classes, or recertification classes if you remain a lifeguard with us for the entire season (paid at the end of the season).

Pay: $18.50 per hour
