CSI Companies is hiring a Radiology Contact Center Scheduler (Outbound) for our Fortune100 healthcare client.

Location: Onsite – Mount Kisco, NY 10549
Pay: $21-24hour based on experience, certifications, and education
Hours: Full time hours; Monday – Friday, standard business hours

Status: Consultant: Contract to Hire
Job Summary
The Radiology Contact Center Scheduler (Outbound) plays a key role in coordinating and scheduling patient appointments for radiology services. This individual will focus primarily on making outbound calls to patients with pending exams, ensuring accuracy in scheduling, and maintaining a smooth patient experience throughout the process. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

You’ll join the Radiology Contact Center team, consisting of two outbound schedulers and a group of inbound schedulers. This team supports radiology scheduling across multiple facilities and collaborates closely to ensure patients are scheduled promptly and accurately.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Make an average of 60 outbound calls daily to schedule pending radiology exams.
  • Maintain continuity of care by updating and tracking work queues in the scheduling system.
  • Obtain and confirm accurate patient demographic and insurance information.
  • Schedule radiology appointments and procedures efficiently while ensuring high-quality patient service.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to confirm appointments and explain procedures.
  • Collaborate with other contact center team members to maintain workflow efficiency and meet departmental goals.
  • Adhere to all administrative policies and procedures to ensure quality of care and patient confidentiality.
  • Stay current on medical and compliance requirements, including HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
  • Attend all required Optum and departmental trainings.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Verifiable High School Diploma or higher
  • 1–2 years of experience in a healthcare or contact center environment.
  • Proven ability to manage a high call volume efficiently and accurately.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail in data entry and scheduling.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous outbound calling experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Epic system experience (scheduling and patient management modules).
