CSI Companies is hiring a Medical Receptionist for our Fortune100 healthcare client.
Location: Onsite – New Hyde Park, NY 11042
Pay: $18-21/hour based on experience, certifications, and education (overtime will be paid at 1.5 times the normal hourly pay rate).
Hours: Full-time hours; Monday to Friday; standard business hours
Status: Consultant: Starting off as a consultant/contractor there is always potential for long term / conversion for the right employee upon business needs. Almost all of the positions within this client start off as a contractor due to being a Fortune 100 company.

- Greet and check in patients upon arrival and check out patients after appointments.
- Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain necessary referrals prior to appointments.
- Manage faxes and scan documents/forms into the electronic medical record system.
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling or general inquiries.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
- Monitor and clear work queues daily to ensure smooth workflow and documentation accuracy.
- Maintain an organized, professional front desk and waiting area.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to support patient care.
- Verifiable High School Diploma/GED or higher
- Prior healthcare or front desk experience
- Technically savvy – Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required. Familiarity with Epic (Electronic Medical Records/Scheduling platform) is a plus but not required — training will be provided
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Previous experience in managed care environments is highly desirable.
- Large corporation experience and Health plan / managed care / healthcare industry experience.
