AI Product Owner/Manager (Hybrid, NYC) – Drive the Future of AI Innovation

We are seeking an experienced AI Product Owner / Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of AI-powered products and solutions. This individual will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and end users, driving product vision and execution from concept through launch. The ideal candidate has experience managing AI/ML or Generative AI products, particularly conversational AI and Large Language Model (LLM)-based solutions.

Location: New York City, NY (Local Candidates Only)
Schedule: Hybrid, onsite at least 3 days per week
Travel: None

What You’ll Do:

• Own and manage the product roadmap, prioritization strategy, and product backlog.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Partner with engineering, design, data science, and business stakeholders to deliver AI-driven solutions.
• Define product success metrics and leverage evaluation data to measure performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure AI products align with business objectives and user needs.
• Identify opportunities to enhance conversational AI, automation, and user experiences through AI technologies.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate product progress, risks, and outcomes.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• 3 years of Product Management or Product Ownership experience.
• Experience managing AI/ML or Generative AI products.
• Experience creating and maintaining product roadmaps, backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience defining KPIs, success metrics, and performance evaluation frameworks for digital products.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with conversational AI, chatbots, virtual assistants, or LLM-based solutions.
• Familiarity with GCP, Vertex AI, CCAI, or comparable cloud-based AI platforms.
• Healthcare or other highly regulated industry experience.
• Experience working with AI model evaluation, quality measurement, and optimization initiatives.

Other Requirements:

• Must reside in New York City, NY metro
• Availability to be physically present at the client’s office at least three days per week - no travel required.
