The Crystal Bride is looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Bridal Receiving & Garment Care Specialist to join our team.

This is an important behind-the-scenes role in our bridal boutique. You will be responsible for receiving and carefully inspecting incoming bridal gowns, special occasion dresses, accessories, and merchandise, as well as helping ensure our brides' gowns are beautifully prepared for their appointments.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, notices the little details, and can independently manage their responsibilities in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process all incoming shipments
• Open packages and carefully inspect gowns, dresses, accessories, and other merchandise for accuracy, quality, damage, or discrepancies
• Match incoming merchandise to orders and packing documentation
• Properly label and organize merchandise
• Submit invoices and receiving paperwork for processing
• Steam and prepare incoming bridal and special occasion samples for the sales floor
• Steam brides' gowns in preparation for Meet Your Dress and try-on appointments
• Carefully handle delicate fabrics, lace, beading, appliqués, and other bridal details
• Prepare and box wedding gowns being sent out for professional cleaning and/or preservation
• Prepare outgoing shipments and ensure items are packaged securely and accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized receiving and garment-care area
• Prioritize daily responsibilities and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Communicate promptly with management when merchandise arrives damaged, incorrect, incomplete, or otherwise requires attention
• Assist with other inventory, garment-care, and operational tasks as needed

• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Able to follow established procedures while also using good judgment
• A positive team member who is willing to help where needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
• Ability to stand and be on your feet throughout the workday
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, carry, and move garment bags and shipping boxes
• Comfortable working with a commercial garment steamer for portions of the day

Schedule

No weekends required.

This position offers a consistent weekday schedule in a professional, team-oriented bridal boutique environment.

Experience

Previous experience in receiving, inventory, retail operations, dry cleaning, alterations, bridal, formalwear, shipping, or garment care is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
