Duties
- Make sure every guest feels welcomed, valued, and well taken care of
- Step in to handle guest concerns, feedback, or special requests with care and confidence
- Set the tone for warm, upbeat, genuine hospitality
- Keep an eye on the flow of service so things stay smooth and stress-free
- Hire, train, coach, and support servers, hosts, bartenders, and support staff
- Build schedules that keep the floor covered without burning people out
- Run pre-shift huddles to hype the team up and share specials, goals, and updates
- Motivate the crew, give feedback, and help team members grow
- Create a positive, respectful, and fun workplace culture
- Manage daily service and keep everything running on time
- Work closely with the kitchen to keep orders accurate and food flowing
- Handle seating, wait times, and reservations so guests stay happy
- Make sure cash handling, POS use, and end-of-shift paperwork stay accurate
- Keep service standards high and spirits even higher
- Make sure the dining room, bar, restrooms, and entryway stay clean and inviting
- Hold the team accountable to cleanliness, safety, and health standards
- Handle guest or safety issues quickly and professionally
- Support promotions, special nights, rentals, and events
- Help bring The Crusty Pig energy to community partnerships and local happenings
- Encourage the team to upsell specials, fan favorites, and high-margin items
- Share ideas to improve service, sales, and guest experience
- Lead FOH service for private events and rentals
- Work with the chef, owners, and partners to plan event details
- Make sure events run smoothly—from setup to last call to cleanup
- Be the go-to FOH person during event service
Experience
- Someone with restaurant or hospitality management experience
- A natural leader who people respect and trust
- Calm under pressure and great at multitasking
- Friendly, guest-focused, and solutions-oriented
- Organized, reliable, and ready to jump in when needed
- Comfortable working nights, weekends, and busy shifts
Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
