The Crumpet Shop is an iconic establishment hiring for its second location in Edmonds, WA. Established in 1976, The Crumpet Shop has been serving crumpets, scones, tea and coffee for the past fifty years. Our second location in downtown Edmonds, WA is looking to expand our team with part time opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity where you’ll be part of our Edmonds location and a critical part of building our reputation in the community.

Requirements For The Position:

• Show up on time and as scheduled, with a positive attitude. We view this as the simplest way to be a respectful team member.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment and completing tasks with a sense of urgency.
• Provide a great guest experience and contribute to a positive environment at the shop.
• This is a no brainer, but required to come to work clean! We work with food. Presentation of our food, shop, and ourselves is critical in providing a great guest experience.
• Are a quick learner - we don’t expect you to know how to make crumpets, but we’ll teach you and expect you to learn it!
• Ability to stand for 8 hour days and occasionally lift heavy objects up to 50lbs
• Ability to work weekends

What You’ll Do:

You’ll progress through the various stations with the goal of learning all aspects of the shop within your first three months - all while providing a great guest experience.

You will:

• Work the register
• Educate guests on our offerings of tea, coffee, and crumpets
• Prepare crumpets with various toppings
• Prepare coffee and espresso drinks
• Bake crumpets
• Clean dishes, and ensure the shop is tidy
• Open and close the shop

What You’ll Receive:

• Starting pay of $17.72/hour tips (averages between $22-25/hr depending on shift)
