What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Home Health Care Aide / CNA position at The Crumley House Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center?
The Crumley House is hiring full-time and part-time for 2nd shift (4 PM- 12:30 AM). Individuals applying will assist members living in residential apartments, help with preparing dinner, assisting members with daily living skills, occasional bathroom assistance, assist with showers, and transferring to bed as needed. Must be flexible and willing to change routine as needed. Able to lift 50 lbs. or more and stand on feet for long periods of time. Duties will include assist with preparing meals (there is a chef onsite), cleaning up after meals, basic housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, cleaning apartments and personal bathrooms, assist with laundry and help members prepare for bedtime in evening. All members at The Crumley House maintain their ADL's.
The individuals at The Crumley House are mobile and articulate needs very well. The Crumley House is a post-acute care rehabilitation facility for individuals with brain injuries, not nursing home care.
All potential employees must pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting, Must be 18 years or older. Individual must provide 3 reference letters. Pay starts at $15.37 hour, negotiable depending on education/experience.
