Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a dynamic restaurant environment. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining attention to detail in presentation and quality.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Sanitate tables, utensils, and service areas according to health and safety regulations to ensure cleanliness.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for special events or busy service periods.
- Collaborate with support staff and management to ensure smooth service flow during peak times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fine dining setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain health standards.
- Knowledge of Asian cuisine and alcoholic beverages, including wine, preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order taking and cash register operations is advantageous.
- Excellent guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for all patrons.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- A team player who is willing to help colleagues as needed to enhance overall service quality.
