We're seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead our rehabilitation services. This role is responsible for overseeing therapy operations, managing a team of therapists, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and driving patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical, occupational, or speech therapy, along with proven leadership experience in a rehabilitation setting.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee rehabilitation department operations, ensuring high-quality patient care.
    • Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation programs that meet patient needs.
    • Lead, train, and evaluate a multidisciplinary team, including therapists and support staff.
    • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility policies regarding rehabilitation services.
    • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
    • Monitor and evaluate therapy effectiveness, patient progress, and care outcomes.
    • Manage department budget, staffing, and resource allocation to meet operational goals.
    • Oversee documentation to ensure compliance with insurance, Medicare/Medicaid, and regulatory requirements.
    • Participate in quality assurance programs, care planning meetings, and leadership discussions.
    • Serve as a liaison between the rehab team and administration, residents, and family members.

Key Qualifications:

    • Must possess a degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited school.
    • Must hold an active and unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of Georgia.
    • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a rehabilitation setting, with supervisory or management experience preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, compliance regulations, and best practices.
    • Proficient in clinical documentation systems and basic computer skills.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
