Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee rehabilitation department operations, ensuring high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation programs that meet patient needs.
- Lead, train, and evaluate a multidisciplinary team, including therapists and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility policies regarding rehabilitation services.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
- Monitor and evaluate therapy effectiveness, patient progress, and care outcomes.
- Manage department budget, staffing, and resource allocation to meet operational goals.
- Oversee documentation to ensure compliance with insurance, Medicare/Medicaid, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in quality assurance programs, care planning meetings, and leadership discussions.
- Serve as a liaison between the rehab team and administration, residents, and family members.
Key Qualifications:
- Must possess a degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited school.
- Must hold an active and unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a rehabilitation setting, with supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, compliance regulations, and best practices.
- Proficient in clinical documentation systems and basic computer skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
