Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, for the Director of Development. The Director of Development will be responsible for creating and overseeing fundraising strategies, managing annual and planned giving programs, and cultivating donor relationships. Additional responsibilities include developing and monitoring budgets, organizing fundraising campaigns, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the success of the organization’s philanthropic initiatives. Qualifications
- Experience in Fundraising and Philanthropy, with a track record of securing financial support and building donor relationships
- Proficiency in Planned Giving and Annual Giving strategies
- Strong skills in Budgeting and financial management
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication abilities
- Knowledge of non-profit development, donor databases, and reporting tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)
- Proven project management skills and a results-driven, goal-oriented approach
