Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings. The ideal candidate will have experience in both industrial and commercial environments, demonstrating proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role will require to travel around south Florida to different jobsites.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in compliance with NEC standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Perform low voltage and high voltage wiring tasks as required.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout of electrical systems.
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure electrical installations meet project specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or necessary repairs.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively on construction sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment.
- Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of construction practices.
- Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
