Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Account Manager to join our team. This is a full-time, in-office position in Asheboro, NC. The Account Manager will be responsible for servicing and retaining an assigned book of business, handling renewals and policy changes, assisting clients with coverage needs, and remarketing accounts when appropriate.
Compensation
$50,000–$75,000 base salary, depending on experience, qualifications, and the size and complexity of the book of business the candidate is capable of managing, plus annual performance bonus opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Manage and service an assigned book of personal and/or commercial P&C accounts
- Handle renewals, endorsements, policy changes, billing questions, certificates, and other service requests
- Review renewal pricing and remarket accounts with other carriers when appropriate
- Quote and rewrite business when better coverage or pricing is available
- Communicate with clients, carriers, and underwriters
- Maintain complete and accurate account documentation
- Follow agency procedures and documentation requirements
- Help retain existing clients and identify appropriate cross-selling opportunities
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina Property & Casualty insurance license required
- Minimum 2 years of P&C insurance agency experience required
- Personal lines, commercial lines, or mixed experience accepted
- Strong customer-service and communication skills
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using agency management systems, carrier websites, and Microsoft Office
- Applied Epic experience is helpful but not required

Work Location
