Position Summary
The Key Holder / Team Lead at The Craft Club is responsible for overseeing daily studio operations, leading team members, and ensuring every guest has a fun, seamless, and memorable hands-on crafting experience. This role acts as the leader on duty in the absence of management and plays a key part in maintaining brand standards, customer satisfaction, and overall store performance.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Support
- Act as the leader on duty and primary point of contact during assigned shifts
- Support, guide, and motivate team members to maintain a positive work environment
- Assist with onboarding and training of new employees
- Ensure team adherence to company policies, procedures, and service standards
Guest Experience
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming, engaging environment
- Guide guests through crafting experiences with clarity and enthusiasm
- Resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Enhance special occasions such as birthdays, group bookings, and events
Operations & Store Management
- Open and close the studio in accordance with company procedures
- Handle cash transactions, POS systems, and daily reconciliation
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall studio presentation
- Ensure all crafting stations are stocked, prepped, and ready for use
Sales & Performance
- Support daily sales goals through guest engagement and upselling
- Promote add-ons, upgrades, and available experiences
- Maintain knowledge of products, services, and current promotions
Problem Solving & Accountability
- Address operational challenges and guest issues efficiently
- Make informed decisions aligned with company standards
- Take ownership of shift performance and overall guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous retail, hospitality, or leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Positive attitude with a team-first mindset
- Interest in arts, crafts, or creative experiences is a plus
Availability Requirements
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work peak hours and event-based shifts

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
