Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Educator/Nanny to provide exceptional academic support and high-level childcare for two school-age children (7 & 11). This unique role blends the structure of home life with the excitement of travel! At home, you’ll be a right-hand helper with a consistent routine. During travel, you’ll be joining the family and bring flexibility for late nights and weekends while creating meaningful learning experiences along the way.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, responsible, and passionate about childcare, with a strong focus on providing academic support during travel periods.
Duties
- Provide daily academic support, tutoring, and enrichment tailored to each child’s age, curriculum, and learning style.
- Coordinate with schools, tutors, or remote learning programs to ensure seamless continuity of education during travel.
- Design engaging educational activities that align with both formal learning and experiential opportunities while on the road.
- Establish and maintain daily routines that balance academics, creative outlets, rest, and family time.
- Provide high-level childcare with a focus on safety, emotional well-being, and positive development.
- Collaborate with parents, household staff, and security to ensure smooth operations while traveling.
- Manage the children’s schedules, including lessons, outings, and activities both at home and abroad.
- Maintain discretion and absolute confidentiality at all times; strict adherence to a signed NDA is required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Child Development, or a related field strongly preferred.
- Minimum of five years of professional experience as a nanny, governess, or private educator with school-age children.
- Demonstrated ability to teach or support core academic subjects (literacy, mathematics, sciences, arts).
- Experience coordinating with schools, homeschooling programs, or private tutors.
- Ability to create a nurturing, structured, and stimulating environment for children in a fast-paced lifestyle.
- Flexibility to travel extensively both domestically and internationally, often on short notice.
- Previous experience working in high-profile households with confidentiality protocols.
- Professionalism, discretion, and excellent judgment are essential.
- Valid passport and driver’s license with a clean record; confident driver (nanny car provided), and the ability to commit to long-term employment.
Pay: $22.59 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
