Restaurant Server – Seafood & Oyster BarJob Summary
The Crab Station – Oyster Bar in Deep Ellum is hiring friendly, energetic, and dependable Servers. You will take food and drink orders, provide excellent customer service, process payments, and help maintain a clean and organized dining area.
Previous restaurant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service
- Explain menu items, seafood options, sauces, spice levels, drinks, and specials
- Enter orders accurately into the Union POS system
- Serve food and beverages promptly
- Check on guests and resolve concerns professionally
- Recommend appetizers, drinks, upgrades, and desserts
- Process cash and credit card payments accurately
- Bus and reset tables, restock supplies, and complete side work
- Keep dining and service areas clean and organized
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and alcohol-service procedures
- Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, hosts, and management
Qualifications
- Restaurant serving experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with a team
- Able to manage multiple tables in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Compensation
Hourly wage plus tips. Pay will be discussed during the interview based on experience and availability.
Personal phone use is not permitted while serving guests or performing assigned duties, except during approved breaks or emergencies.
