Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling and serving
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting dining areas efficiently
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring satisfaction
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation or food handling tasks when needed
- Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment in compliance with sanitation regulations
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Proven ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue growth
- Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and order accuracy
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
