Barback, Busser, and Food Runner

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. **This is a “tip credit” position. Base hourly pay is $8 per hour plus tips

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
• Assist with food preparation and ensure all items are properly plated before serving.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area by bussing tables and clearing away used dishes.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest needs or concerns.
• Operate the POS system for order tracking and assist with cashiering duties as needed.
• Support catering events and banquets, ensuring all food service standards are met.
• Uphold food handling safety standards at all times to ensure guest health and satisfaction.

Skills

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Experience in cleaning, bussing, and general kitchen duties is essential.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and catering services is beneficial.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
