Job Summary
Join our vibrant café team as a Barista, where you will be the friendly face and expert in crafting exceptional beverages and delivering outstanding customer service. In this energetic role, you’ll prepare a variety of non-alcoholic drinks and foods, manage retail sales transactions, and ensure every guest has a memorable experience. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute to a lively atmosphere that keeps customers coming back for more!
Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other non-alcoholic beverages along with foods with precision and flair.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales efficiently and accurately.
- Handle retail sales transactions, including cash handling, processing cash transactions, and giving correct change.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, food safety practices, and routine cleaning duties.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating special requests.
- Manage beverage service from order taking to drink presentation, ensuring timely delivery during busy hours.
- Support food preparation tasks as needed while adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak times without compromising quality.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, giving accurate change, and managing sales totals.
