The Coyle Company is a boutique life insurance planning firm that specializes in designing and managing sophisticated life insurance portfolios that help ultra-affluent families distribute their wealth as they intend. The Client Relationship Manager will assume responsibility for overseeing the end-to-end new business and underwriting process, from initial engagement to case placement. Core responsibilities encompass meticulously preparing and processing application forms, managing all associated requirements, facilitating prompt and accurate processing by carriers, and maintaining open and consistent communication with all relevant stakeholders throughout the underwriting process. Additionally, this role will provide comprehensive client service support for in-force policies when required. The CRM will partner with Producers, COO and Case Design in managing the underwriting and service needs of Ultra High Net Worth Family Relationships. The CRM will interact directly with clients, advisors and external partners daily to provide efficient, effective and proactive service to clients.


Responsibilities
• Maintain the confidentiality of client information at all times.
• Take proactive measures to effectively manage both informal inquiries and formal applications within the firm on a daily basis.
• Initiate the necessary processes to obtain underwriting-related requirements, such as attending physician statements and medical exams, by coordinating with medical providers and vendors.
• Utilize advanced technology systems to accurately input and document client information and data throughout the insurance application processing.
• Conduct thorough reviews, analysis, and interpretation of medical, financial, and other pertinent information obtained during the life insurance application process, providing valuable guidance to ensure the case progresses in the appropriate direction.
• Act as a liaison between the life insurance carriers and the Producers on behalf of applicants and communicate with Producer & COO to provide case status and strategize on planning.
• Proactively engage with clients to obtain outstanding requirements, assist in completing forms, and schedule necessary examinations and appointments.
• Serve as an advocate for clients during negotiations with insurance carriers, striving to secure the most favorable and competitive risk assessment outcomes.
• Maintain regular and transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders, while accurately updating internal database and file systems.
• Drive the implementation of best practices and operational procedures to enhance ongoing improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Assess each client's unique circumstances to help identify the most suitable insurance carrier options, ensuring the best course of action is pursued.
• Facilitate transition of client from underwriting to service in collaboration with COO and Case Design.
• Maintain existing client relationships by providing timely, accurate, and professional client service:
• Ensure thorough understanding of client’s portfolio via discussion with Producers, Case Design and COO.
• Act as primary point of contact for clients and/or their advisors for all inquiries and service requests.  In collaboration with team, research, resolve, and respond to all inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
• Provide ongoing services including processing of annual premium payments, ownership & beneficiary changes, trustee changes, conversions, address changes, loans, assist with IFL requests as needed.
• Provide annual trust administration services for clients, where applicable.
• Update administrative databases with all client and policy information, ensuring communication with Producers and COO of significant changes.
• Ensure compliance requirements are met for variable policies through ongoing training and reporting.
• Generate and distribute accurate year-end reports.
• Participate in client/advisor meetings as needed.



Requirements

BS/BA with 3 years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Experience with a multi-carrier environment and managing complex cases with high-net-worth individuals is preferred.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain Series 6 and 63 licenses
• Ability to understand and assess common medical terminology and interpret medical information, and records for initial underwriting offers. Ability to review, identify and address abnormal answers or findings.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Time management and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Willing to enhance education through training and industry education.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, PDF software, and database systems
