We’re opening a new restaurant concept in Cobb Island and looking for experienced bartenders and servers. Whether crafting signature cocktails or delivering knowledgeable food service, your contributions will elevate every guest interaction.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality in every pour.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using Toast POS system, efficiently managing multiple tables or bar stations.
- Provide attentive guest service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and making recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during high-volume hours while multitasking across beverage preparation, food delivery, and customer engagement.
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender or server in an upscale restaurant environment required.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Strong knowledge of wine, spiruts, food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude that enhances guest satisfaction.
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math for sales tracking, and restaurant math for order accuracy.
- Experience working in fine dining establishments or catering settings is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail in beverage preparation and food service.
- TIPS Certification preferred.
