What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Director of Nursing-RN position at The Courtyard Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center?
The Courtyard Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is currently hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for our skilled nursing facility. We would love to consider you!
As an ADON Nurse you will:
- Supervise and direct the nursing service department, as well as its programs and activities in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern a long-term care facility.
- Develop, maintain and periodically update written policies and procedures that guide the day-to-day functions of the nursing service department
- Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of resident care
- Maintain an ongoing quality assurance program
- Train nursing staff in the proper provision of direct care to residents. Assists in planning the nursing services portion of resident discharge plans
- Serve on and participate in care-related committees as needed
- Lead others through actions consistent with and serve our culture
- Participate in facility surveys by government agencies
Qualifications:
- Must be an LVN or RN with long term care experience
- Valid CPR certification.
